Sun Synergy Contracts had the credentials and the portfolio: CIDB G4, a named Design Director, and commercial work including the KLIA Control Tower. What they did not have was a way for anyone searching to find them. Five months later, they are on page one of Google for 32 commercial searches and receive about three enquiries a week.

Sun Synergy Contracts is the renovation and fit-out arm of the Sun Synergy business, led by Design Director Catherine Ng. They hold a CIDB G4 licence and have commercial work behind them that most contractors would lead every conversation with: the KLIA Control Tower, Mercedes-Benz, Platinum Arena.
None of that was doing any work for them online.
The renovation arm lived under the parent company’s identity on a six page site. A homeowner in Subang Jaya searching for a renovation contractor, or an office manager in Petaling Jaya looking for a fit-out firm, had no way to find them. Their completed projects sat in a photo gallery that search engines could not read. Their Google listing clashed with the parent company’s at the same address. And there was no tracking at all, so there was no way to know whether anything was bringing in an enquiry.
This is the position a lot of good contractors are in. The work is real, the credentials are real, and the market cannot see either.
The first job was to make sure that when people in their area searched for what Sun Synergy Contracts does, they were there.
That meant a page for every service they offer and every area they cover, so each search had somewhere specific to land. It meant sorting out the Google listing so the renovation arm stood on its own, separate from the parent company. And it meant checking, month after month, that Google could actually see every page, fixing the ones it could not, and pushing the pages closest to page one first.
What changed. In May, their first full month, the site earned 6 clicks from Google. By August it was 122. As of 17 September, they are on page one of Google for 32 commercial searches, the kind made by people looking for a contractor rather than for Sun Synergy by name. They are first on Google for “commercial renovation contractors”, in the top four for “renovation contractor subang jaya”, and on page one for “renovation contractor petaling jaya”.
The same groundwork shows up in AI search. In a ChatGPT check on 17 September 2026, asked to recommend reliable CIDB-licensed renovation and fit-out contractors in Petaling Jaya, ChatGPT named Sun Synergy Contracts first of five. Website analytics also record people arriving from AI assistants: 32 visits in July and 41 in August.
Being found is only half of it. A homeowner comparing three contractors needs a reason to pick one, and price is the reason they fall back on when nothing else stands out.
So the proof had to be visible. Every completed project became its own page, tagged by area, service and property type and linked to the matching service and area pages, so someone looking at kitchen work in Puchong sees kitchen work in Puchong. The portfolio has since grown from nine project pages to fourteen. The credentials, CIDB G4 and a named Design Director, are stated the same way everywhere. And each month a cost guide answers what homeowners ask before they call anyone, written from Sun Synergy Contracts’ own project numbers and checked by the Design Director before it goes live.
They rank for the questions those guides answer. For “authority submission”, Sun Synergy Contracts sits in the top three, in front of exactly the people who need a contractor who can handle the paperwork.
What we cannot yet show is how many buyers chose them because of it. Phase 2 is set up to capture that.
One trust signal is still missing, and we say so openly: reviews. In that same ChatGPT answer, Sun Synergy Contracts was the only one of the five firms shown without a review rating. Closing that gap, with genuine reviews from clients and project partners, is the next lever.
The site now produces about 2.7 WhatsApp taps a week, 42 in total between June and 17 September, and five leads have come through the website form. Sun Synergy Contracts separately reports receiving two to three WhatsApp enquiries a week. The site’s own tracked tap rate lands on the same figure, which is unusually clean corroboration for a channel that is normally very hard to attribute.
Roughly three enquiries a week, from a brand new domain five months earlier. And because every contact channel is tracked, the business can see where they come from rather than guess.
Not just clicks: one home renovation enquiry that came through the website in September led to site visits by the design team, and a quotation was being prepared as of 21 September 2026.
Her part was the part only she could do: project photos, project details, and checking each article before it went live. Everything else was on us.
Every stage started from a written plan: what would be built, in what order, and why. Every month, the work done and the numbers it moved went into a plain-language report, including what was still weak.
Five months in, visibility is no longer the constraint. It has created a better problem.
At around three enquiries a week, the Design Director now spends real, unbilled time on enquiries that were never going to proceed. One example from the account: a request to fully renovate an 800 square foot, 21 year old condominium on a RM30,000 budget, where the realistic figure for even a minimal refresh was closer to RM100,000. That conversation cost time and produced nothing. We do not yet know what share of enquiries are a genuine fit, and we will not guess. Phase 2 is built to measure that as well as filter it.
The bottleneck has moved from being found to qualifying and following up. Phase 2 addresses exactly that: asking about budget, scope and photos before an enquiry reaches the Design Director, and holding the follow-up so that nothing depends on somebody remembering to reply.
This page will be updated when that work ships.
Every figure below comes from Google's own search data and the website's analytics. September covers 1 to 17 only, so it is marked as a partial month rather than presented as a full one.
32 commercial intent keywords sit on page one of Google, across 11 pages, with 6 of them in positions 1 to 3. These are non branded searches, meaning people looking for a contractor, not for Sun Synergy Contracts by name.
The cluster they now effectively own.
The searches that bring in home renovation work.
Figures are average position over the 30 days to 17 September 2026, as reported in Google's search data.
Worth stating plainly, because contractors have heard plenty of agency claims.
Found and Chosen is the same system, built for renovation contractors. We take three firms at the early-client price, and start at most two new builds a month, because each build gets the same close monthly attention Sun Synergy Contracts had. Two places remain. It starts with a short call to see whether it fits, then a look at where you actually stand: who finds you, who ranks instead, and what that is costing you.
